These terms govern your use of the Semanticus software and website. Semanticus is operated by Kane Snyder, sole trader, ABN 61 072 559 634, Australia (“we”, “us”). By installing the software or purchasing a subscription you agree to these terms.
Semanticus is a Visual Studio Code extension and companion engine for developing Power BI and Microsoft Fabric semantic models. The core product is free and open-core (MIT-licensed components); Semanticus Pro is a paid subscription that unlocks additional capabilities (bulk/atomic operations, enforced workflow runs, audit export and related features) via a license token.
Don’t use Semanticus to violate law, third-party rights, or the terms of the services it connects to (e.g. Microsoft Power BI / Fabric). You are responsible for the models and data you operate on and for any AI assistant you connect to the tool.
The Semanticus engine runs locally on your machine. We do not receive your models, your data, or telemetry from the product. See the Privacy Policy.
Semanticus is provided “as is”. To the maximum extent permitted by law we disclaim all implied warranties and our total liability for any claim relating to the software or a subscription is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes rights that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law; where such rights apply, our liability is limited to re-supplying the software or refunding its price, at our option. You are responsible for backups and source control of your own models; always review changes (the tool provides dry-runs, diffs and undo for this purpose).
We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee — see the Refund Policy.
We may update these terms; material changes will be dated at the top of this page. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance. If a change materially reduces what your active subscription provides, you may request a pro-rata refund of the remaining period.
